Thankful November

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name. (Psalms 100:4)

With Thanksgiving just around the corner. I have been thinking of activities to do with the kids to encourage them to be more thankful. I know that just saying what you are thankful for helps, but it doesn't challenge them to really think about it.

I came across a great idea while I was perusing the web. To have them write about or draw something that they are thankful for for each letter of the alphabet. One letter for each day.

On Sundays, we will  pick one from each letter done that week to showcase here on the blog on Thankful Sundays.

  1. That's a great idea! My oldest is only 26 months and barely speaks but I'll have to remember this activity for when my boys are older :)
