New Year's Resolution

I have read some others New Years resolutions and it got me thinking. What my resolutions would be. I had the post written and scheduled to post, when I went back and read it, I thought, if I'm going to make resolutions, I want ones that count. I don't want it to be something that doesn't make it past the first couple months of the year or possibly even weeks. This year I thought about what I really want to accomplish and then what I need to do to accomplish those goals.

Below are my five resolutions and the goals I want to accomplish
  1. Work through the Proverbs 31 bible study -- to grow closer to God and be a Godly woman.
  2. Bread of Life Bible reading plan -- I want to teach my children to hide the word in their hearts and to trust in God.
  3. Find opportunities to do random acts of kindness -- to teach my children to help others and pay it forward.
  4. Plant a garden -- provide healthy organic foods for my family.
  5. Drink 10 glasses of water and exercise 15 minutes daily -- to take better care of God's temple.
Do you have any resolutions, and how did you decide?

  1. I want to plant a garden too! We live in a townhouse right now so we can't, but we've just started looking for houses and I'm so excited to be able to do that!! Good luck with your resolutions! : )

    1. Have you thought about a container garden. I have seen some and they look interesting and take a lot less space. Good luck to you as well!

    1. I don't think there's a better goal as a parent than to foster a love of his work in their lives.
